When we started Link II .... What
is now Search Engines were only link list... Yahoo was a small
link list. The best link list at the time was The Wall. It
was on a university computer in Norway, above the Attic Circle.
The man who ran it would go home for the summer and stopped updating it when he
left school. That URL is owned by Symantec today.
Today we provide web hosting and
web design. As our most sold product. When we look at some
of our first pages we laugh out loud. We have all of the most up
to date tools and built pages that really work.
We
have been providing dialups for almost twenty years with the same
supplier. We now have five times as many POPs as we did
then.
We were providing domain services when Network
Solutions was the only register in the world...
We ran our own server for six years on
a small line in Phoenix. We located it near a phone company wire
center and was getting almost ten times the speed we were paying for.
We are now offering free web sites to
Little League Baseball, Pop Warner Leagues and Soccer Associations.
